30kTorry AKA Torry Jackson & the Fall of “WS73GC”: Inside Michigan’s Most Embarrassing Gang Cosplay

 If you’ve been on Reddit lately—r/CrimeintheD, r/Calibanging, r/Caliconnection, or anywhere gang-adjacent—you’ve probably seen some variation of “WS73GC,” “WSDMGC73,” or “W/S 73 Gangsters Crips” (with the extra s) floating around, all claiming ties to the 73 Gangster Crips out of Los Angeles.

 After digging through the posts, accounts, and breadcrumbs, it became clear this entire wave of internet lore traces back to one person: a Clarkston, Michigan resident using the names 30kTorry / 40kTorry on Instagram, u/Intrepid-Tradition74 on Reddit, and 40k3Trazy / Bkaby Loc on audio uploads. Real name: Torry Jackson. He is the only person in Michigan pushing this so-called “set,” complete with claims of a Detroit or Clarkston chapter that supposedly “started in 2025.”

That alone should’ve raised eyebrows. But it gets worse.

 The real 73 Gangster Crips (73GC/STHGC) are a documented Eastside Los Angeles set. Torry didn’t just misunderstand the politics—he straight up invented a Westside version of a well-documented Eastside gang and tried to drop it into a predominantly white Oakland County suburb where Crips do not exist. Clarkston has apartment complexes, deer crossings, and pet waste stations. It does not have Crip-gangs that actively claim city blocks.

 I’m writing this because Torry personally DM’d me on Instagram asking to be “put on” to the W7M Crips. I ignored it. Anybody with real street sense knows you don’t join a gang through Instagram DMs. That interaction alone told me what I was dealing with, so I started paying closer attention.

 Torry’s “set” first showed up in a long Reddit post he wrote in mid-2025, claiming WS73GC was some Detroit–L.A. hybrid Crip gang based in Clarkston. In the same breath, he said they had no local rivals, yet somehow had beef with Neighborhood Crips in Pontiac—which don’t exist. That contradiction should’ve ended the conversation right there.

Instead, he doubled down.

 He started posting staged graffiti—paint on random walls with no location, no rivals crossing it out, no interaction, nothing that resembles real street-gang tagging. When those posts didn’t hold up, he briefly tried calling himself “W7M 73GC,” a name he was never given permission to use and which has never been tagged anywhere on West 7 Mile or in the 48219 area. After that got exposed, he ran to Reddit smearing my hood, calling W7M 83GC / ScoreGang “fake Crips.” Like reality changes because you type it online. Too bad for Torry, The Crips got Wi-Fi too.

Everything finally collapsed on July 3, 2025.

That’s when Torry and his people tried to host a “hood day.”

What they posted was hotel footage.

 Six people. One room. Cheap blue napkins. Paisley tablecloths straight out a dollar store. An extended-stay hotel. No block. No neighborhood. No OGs. No presence. Just a controlled indoor space because they don’t actually have anywhere they can stand outside and claim.

That’s not a hood day. That’s a hotel meetup.

 And the timing made it worse. That same day, real 73GC members from Los Angeles—the actual Eastside set tied to the Fremont High injunction—posted their real hood day. I’m not counting heads or giving locations, but the contrast spoke for itself. Footage of active members roasting the cosplay circulated for a couple days before the page hosting it disappeared. In one clip, “Lady Dlow” was called “boo boo”—L.A. slang for worthless.

After that, Reddit labeled the entire thing a fraud.

 Post-exposure, Torry started deleting accounts, switching usernames, hiding behind private profiles, and popping up on burner X accounts like @theredetroit and @eman48219, both created late 2025. His old IG (40kTorry) vanished. His new one (30kTorry) blocks anyone who asks direct questions. That’s not how real gang members move—that’s how internet bangers move when the story falls apart.

He also told on himself by confusing W7M 83GC with Eight Tray Gangster Crips.

In Detroit, 83GC means:

• W7M = West 7 Mile
• 8 = H (Hyena)
• 3 = C (Crips)
• GC = Got Control

 That’s a Detroit-born cipher. It’s been written on real walls by multiple people and crossed out by real rivals. Torry didn’t understand it because he doesn’t have Detroit ties—or L.A. ones. That’s also why he keeps saying “Gangsters Crips” instead of “Gangster Crips.” Nobody ever put him on. Nobody ever corrected him. There is no gang behind him to check the language.

ScoreGang doesn’t need L.A. handouts. Detroit Crips build their own language and rep their own neighborhoods. Always have.

 From Torry’s own admissions, he lives at Bridgewater Park Apartments—a quiet suburban complex. That reality alone collapses the fantasy. You can’t live comfortably removed from the street and cosplay a gang online. That disconnect is why his “set” has no block, no tags, no rivals, no structure. Everything exists in group chats, Reddit threads, and boredom.

 This wasn’t harmless roleplay. After getting rejected, Torry and his people smeared real hoods, mass-reported factual posts, tried to erase Detroit ciphers, and reposted photos of real people—including my own mugshots. That’s false claiming with consequences, even if all he ever planned to do was type.

 This whole situation is a textbook case of suburban identity crisis mixed with digital projection. It’s not new. It’s just louder online.

Real isn’t what you post.

Real is what exists when you log off.
